At the top: a 60-second network television spot for The Drone Racing League’s newest racer, The Racer 4. (For details, head to the company’s site.) Art Direction: John Moses.
_______________
A) An annual report cover for Easter Seals entitled “A Migratory Study of Angels.” (Easter Seals volunteers within the organization are called angels.)
_______________
B) Boyd’s Philadelphia is the city’s finest, priciest men’s store... and they specialize in custom tailored suits. It’s hard to see the needle and thread in the background here, but those were the elements that tied everything together.
_______________
C) Some fun word play in a full page 4/C newspaper ad inviting Arts & Business Council Members to a hoighty-toughty luncheon honoring Jonathan Demme. (Who directed "Silence of the Lambs.”)
_______________
D) "No Recession for Me” was my idea (advice) on how to mentally combat a deepening recession. The site featured two brilliant performances (one funny, and one very moving) by up and coming actor and full time bus driver: Floyd Marshall. The site picked up a couple of awards and a lot of press, including the Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Miami Herald and so on.
_______________
E) The “Face Campaign” was my favorite bank campaign. The approach: snarky, two-part headlines + two quick hand-drawn pencil lines, which really popped in outdoor as well. Harleysville National Bank had a fuddy-duddy name and reputation, but we turned that around over 2-3 years, leaving them smart-sounding, attractive and groomed (with respect to branding) for sale. We lost them when they were bought.
_______________
F) The "Bubble Campaign” for ACNB Bank. I like the way the 2 small ads work together and dominate a full page ad (without having to pay for a full page ad.)
_______________
G) Some Time Warner work. The personalization technique really gave these postcards impact. Each came with a custom url that led recipients to their own mini-site, where we closed the sale.
_______________
H) Quarter-page ads for Harleysville, part of a larger “how-to” campaign.
_______________
I) 3 (of maybe 20 total) “Hero” postcards for Comcast, and below that, 2 (of maybe 6) plastic postcards we did for Comcast Business. (The plastic was recyclable.)
_______________
J) Last, the very first (of literally hundreds) of jobs I did for World Wide Stereo. This postcard was for their car stereo department.
